trongly agree with this sentiment: The opportunity for Dems is to embrace Independents and people who are entirely fed up with business as usual in politics which has to do with politicians answering to corporations and people with deeper pockets than ours. Bernie showed that together we have deep pockets and far reach too! The establishment expended a lot of energy to stifle him, yet we could not be stifled, and our presence could not be ignored. Nor can it be. That is the opportunity for Dems, even now: acknowledge our rejection of party and establishment politics and make a commitment to making this system respond to the many, not the few. We are not going away. Capture the spirit and revitalize yourself, Democratic party. Or remain guilty in this farcical pageant being played out before a stunned and weary world, leaving the door open to real demagogues who will misuse the righteous desire for change.
